The purpose of this Panel Discussion Session is to review the current technology advances in power electronics and motor drives, and their future trends. There will be five panelists in the session who are authorities in their areas. The session will start with a brief presentation from the panelists in order to stimulate discussion. Each panelist will be asked to give 4 minute presentation using only one slide. He will attempt to give technology review and trends on the relevant subject. All the attendees in the session will be encouraged to participate in the discussion in a very lively but organized manner.
