Presenter and Session Chair Instructions
 
     
  Session Chair and Co-Chair instruction  
     
  1. Please check the time and room assignment of your session.

2. Collect session author bios from the registration desk before your sessions.

3. Attend author breakfast at 7:30 am in Gallery Room the day of your sessions in order to get acquaintance with the co-chair and authors in your sessions.


4. Arrive at the assigned room 10 minutes before the starting time of your session to meet the student volunteer assigned to your session. Please familiarize yourself with the audio-visual equipment.

5. Start and end your session on time. Announce at the beginning of your session: "Please turn off all cell phones (or set to vibrating) during the session"

6. The total time for each paper is 15 minutes including Q&A. Allow 2 minutes for a Q&A period and logistical time for presenters to get on and off the stage. Please announce at the beginning of the session that each paper will be finished in time to allow for adequate discussion.

8. If a presenter fails to appear, do not move to the next paper. Instead, call for a break until the scheduled time for the next presentation. If possible, organize a discussion on issues related to the topics of the session. Please record papers that are not presented.
