I received BS and MS degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bogazici University - Istanbul in 1998 and 2000, respectively. I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering at NCSU, and working in Advanced Diagnosis Automation and Control Laboratory as a research assistant. My research area is related to biologically inspired intelligent health monitoring of rotating machinery systems.

Zheng Li
I am from Tianjin, China and am a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering. I received my Bachelor of Engineering in Automation from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in Spring 2001 and Master in Electrical Engineering from NC State in Fall 2003. My research interests are Network based Control. I am a student member of IEEE from 2001.

Puxuan Dong
I got my B.S. in Physics and B.A. in English in 1998. In year 2003, I obtained my Master Degree in Electrical Engineering and now I am Ph.D. candidate in the ECE department at NCSU. In 2005, I spent two semesters at ATI Industrial Automation designing and testing mixed-signal circuits for high precision force/torque sensors. My research interests include hardware design, hardware implementation of artificial neural network (ANN) and mechatronics system design.

Tyler Richards
I am from Irmo, South Carolina and am pursuing my Master degree in Computer Engineering with a concentration in mechatronics. I graduated from NC State in 2003 with a B.S. in Computer Engineering and a minor in Economics. My interests lie in automotive systems.

Rachana Gupta
I am from Mumbai, India. I completed Bachelors in Electronics and Tele communication in 2002 from University of Pune. And now pursuing my Masters degree in NCSU. My research interest lies in Vision for Robotics and Mechatronics. It is so much fun working with Dr. Chow and all the ADAC friends. Way to go !!!

As a new member of the ADAC Lab, I hope to learn from my peers and professor Chow, as well as making contributions to the projects in hand. After obtaining a B.S. degree at NC State, along with two rotations of co-op experience at Square D Company, I feel that the ADAC Lab is the right place for me to start exploring the world of research-oriented learning environment while I pursue my M.S. degree at NC State.
